As real estate prices and activity in the islands rebounds from last year's disastrous political nonsense, once again, West Bay is becoming the focal point of the recovery boom! More people look to invest in beach front or 'near the beach' property than any other type of real estate on Roatan. It's no wonder then that developers are now scurrying to jump start condo projects that sat on the back burners over the past 20 months or so.
Email inquiries are up. Sales are up. Listings are up. Visitors to Roatan are up!… and it looks like it's even going to get better this fall during our peak season! Reservations are trickling in and according to 2 hoteliers I met with over the weekend, bookings are 'brisk' compared to last year.
MLS listings and analysis show West Bay Beach is the hot spot on Roatan right now and I've personally experienced this mad dash for property as well with my own clients. My advice? BUY BEFORE NOVEMBER! There's a lot happening right now that will generate increased prices and a lot more activity in our market this summer.
