The Steve Miller band brought the house down at the MGM Grand last week during a private concert exclusively for the delegates of the 2005 RE/MAX International Convention in Las Vegas. Shelley and I partied along with 9,000 other "rockers" to old favorites like "Jungle Love", "The Joker", "Abra-cadabra", and more....
Talk about a show!! WOW!! Steve had a few of his original bandmembers with him still along with a couple of new faces... but he sure hasn't lost his touch... that man can play a guitar like I can ring a bell..
And the crowd was FULL of BuyRoatan.com supporters... everywhere you looked were knowing and "unknowing" revelers sporting the popular bumper sticker.... some in places you can only imagine.
Shelley and I, along with Montreal Bob and his wife Sonia, Henrik Jensen and his family, Patricia Faulk and Ms. Lucy, our Office Manager danced, sang, partied and bopped till the wee hours of the morning. What a performance!! Just like the old days!... except without the hangover. Booze is a thing of the past for Shelley and I ... so we felt pretty good the next day...
All in all, this convention was one of the best ever in my 12 years with RE/MAX. They sure put on a great show....
