1) Emerging Market - Roatan is fast being discovered as one of the last truly tropical and affordable Caribbean hideaways. Besides our world famous Coral Reef surrounding the Island of Roatan, visitors enjoy pristine beaches, warm turquoise waters and laid back locals.
2) Stable Government - the Government of Honduras is an elected democratic assembly with Congress acting as the legislative committee. This is a peaceful Central American country that has never seen civil war. There is a separate Ministry of Tourism.
3) Honduras is not in the Hurricane zone....Hurricanes come few and far between, averaging 1 every 24 years or so.
