Every year at this time the French Harbour Christmas celebration is held on the streets of downtown FH. Every year it gets rained out. Every year that is...except this year. Not only was it a beautiful sunny day, but we actually built and entered a RE/MAX float....and we won!! "Best float". Woo hoo!! Kudos to all who helped us out and made this parade a super fun event.
Our theme was quite easy. A nativity scene complete with baby Jesus (aka Kendy's newborn), along with the 3 wise men, some angels and pretty much all our RE/MAX kids thrown into the mix....all the more hands to throw out yummy candy for the on-lookers.
Later the festivities included a lighted boat parade in the Harbour, dunk tank and other numerous games of skill and fun, and enough food to feed an army. Attendance was great, partially thanks to the weather. West End's celebration is this weekend and West Bay has a party for the youngsters at Infinity Bay on Friday. So far, the rains have cooperated...let's keep our fingers crossed.
