Mexican Billionaire, Alberto Bailleres, ranked #83 richest man in the world on Forbes Top list, visited Roatan this past week on board his 300 foot mega yacht, Mayan Queen IV and raised several eyebrows. In addition, his private jet sat on the Roatan International Airport tarmac for the entire duration of his stay. The vessel, almost the size of a cruiseship was not able to dock anywhere in Roatan because of the 25 foot draft the ship draws. Launched in 2006, the Mayan Queen IV was built by Blohm & Voss and designed by Tim Heywood for the Mexican owner who previously owned a 49 meter Feadship with the same name.
