To the Islander, a full grown Iguana means a delicious meal and a real treat on special occasions. To the foreigner, the Iguana is an ugly and sometimes scary reptile that runs across the road in front of your car, drops out of a tree beside you, or scurries away from you as you walk through the jungle here. Never in my wildest dreams would I think it would SNOW on Roatan! But yesterday's Cold Front from the north brought record-breaking cold temperatures that dropped the white stuff on the hilltops! A bunch of us rented a plane and toured the Island to see for ourselves. There's a media ban so you may not hear about it, but I smuggled my camera onto the airplane and took video. Talk about freaky!
