Ok.. so you found a cheap flight to Honduras… but they only go to San Pedro Sula, on Honduras' mainland. This means you still have to get to Roatan, right? You do have options.. but the fastest (usually) is by taking a small commuter flight from CM, CAA, SOSA or ISLENA Airlines over to Roatan. Now the planes are small, lack air-conditioning, are crowded and often smell of fuel… but they are reliable and safe… and are piloted by some of the best in the business! Of course, you can avoid the plane change and fly direct to Roatan from Houston, or Atlanta right now.. but then.. THAT wouldn't be much of an adventure now would it?
